How the public is betting most receiving yards in 2021 NFL Playoffs

We take a look at five players in the 2021 NFL Playoffs and their odds to see who will have the most receiving yards.

After 17 weeks of the NFL regular season action, the postseason is finally here with Super Wild Card Weekend beginning on Saturday. There will be a total of six wildcard games across two days that will feature some of the league’s best players. But we also cannot forget the receivers and tight ends that we’ll see in the divisional round.

DraftKings Sportsbook compiled the odds on which wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends will record the most receiving yards in the 2021 NFL Playoffs. If you believe that the Packers or Chiefs will not make it to Super Bowl 55, then you might want to shy away from placing money on Davante Adams or Tyreek Hill since they will already not get a Wild Card round game to pad their stats.

Currently, Bills WR Stefon Diggs has the best odds (+350) to lead the playoffs in receiving yards. Diggs is fourth in betting handle, with 7% of the action and ranked third with 10% of the bets. Packers WR Davante Adams (+500) leads the way in handle with 36% and bets with 27%. The rest of the top five most bet incorporates Saints RB Alvin Kamara (+3000) at 7% of the handle and 6% of the bets, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (+600) with 8% of the handle and 13% of bets and Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (+600) at 6% of the handle and 8% of the bets.

Looking at the top five most bet in totality, I’m surprised that there wasn’t a single Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver listed. Antonio Brown’s odds are listed at +2500, Chris Godwin at (+1100), and Mike Evans (+4000). Now granted, there’s not a lot of targets to go around with that receiver unit, but the Bucs should be able to get pass the Wild Card round against the Washington Football Team. Furthermore, I don’t agree with Diggs having the best odds, solely because Adams has been a man on the mission this season.

Diggs will get a lot of targets from quarterback Josh Allen, but he’ll also receive a lot of attention from opposing defense. In regards to Adams, defenses can’t solely key on him because the Packers have Aaron Jones in the backfield and Robert Tonyan at tight end.
