What to do with Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp in the Wild Card round of the 2021 NFL playoffs

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp ahead of the Rams Wild Card matchup against the Seahawks in the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

The Los Angeles Rams’ top two wide receivers were in a precarious position, from a fantasy football perspective, heading into their Saturday Wild Card matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. But with Jared Goff practicing again by the middle of the week and Cooper Kupp off the COVID list, things are looking up for both.

Fantasy Football analysis: Rams WRs Robert Woods ($6,200), Cooper Kupp ($6,000)

Despite having seven targets last week with backup QB John Wolford under center, Woods came away with just 36 yards on four catches. Kupp missed that game. In Week 16, against the Seahawks, both were targeted nine times; Woods caught four for 48 yards, and Kupp caught eight for 66 yards. Kupp’s 66 yards was the most either player has had against the Seahawks this season.

Woods has been the better option this season, though both saw their production slip over the last month of the season.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Woods makes a decent play as a second or third receiver, in any fantasy format. There are better options than Kupp available for less money in DFS (like T.Y. Hilton or John Brown).
