What to do with Dawson Knox in the Wild Card round of the 2021 NFL playoffs

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Dawson Knox ahead of the Bills Wild Card matchup against the Colts in the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

With explosive offensive players like quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs, there’s not much oxygen for the other guys on the roster. However, despite a lack of spotlight, tight end Dawson Knox has quietly been playing well, making him a decent option for fantasy football lineups.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills TE Dawson Knox, $3,200

Knox had a season-high eight targets last week, catching two for 29 yards. That wasn’t all his fault as the Bills took Allen out after two quarters. The week before that, he caught three of four passes for a season-high 51 yards. More impressive is that he’s caught three touchdown passes over his last six games.

The Colts are the third best defense against tight ends, but they’ve given up some decent games to opposing players at the position lately. And with Cole Beasley likely sitting out on Saturday, there should be addition targets for Knox.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Knox is a decent starting TE for traditional fantasy formats. He’s a decent bargain in DFS for Saturday’s games—a day that’s thin at the position overall—if you want to save money for other players.
