What to do with Tom Brady in the Wild Card round of the 2021 NFL playoffs

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Tom Brady ahead of the Bucs Wild Card matchup against Washington in the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

Tom Brady finished the season tied for the second-most passing touchdowns in the NFL with 40. He picked up eight of those over the last two weeks of the season, heightening his fantasy appeal ahead of Saturday’s Wild Card matchup with the Washington Football team. But is Brady worth a spot in your lineup this week against an underrated Washington defense?

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs QB Tom Brady, $6,900

Brady’s actually a pretty good value if you want to avoid the crowds putting Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson in their lineups this week. He’s had at least two touchdown passes in every game since Week 9. The matchup, on paper, might look a little intimidating, but Brady’s been avoiding pressure by getting the ball out quickly this season and utilizing a wide array of above average pass catchers. It’s going to be a lot for Washington’s defensive front to handle.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Brady’s a good starting option in any fantasy format. I like him in DFS this weekend to because of the upside he offers as well as avoiding some of the crowd flocking to Allen and Jackson. I’d consider stacking him with Chris Godwin or Antonio Brown this weekend.
