Stefon Diggs limited on Thursday, questionable for Wild Card round

The Bills WR1 gets in limited practice and is officially questionable to the Wild Card round.

Thursday update: Diggs was able to get in a limited practice on Thursday and is officially listed as questionable on the injury report. He said yesterday that he would be fine for the game and we also saw him having a little dance party with his teammates. He will play.

Wednesday update: Diggs didn’t practice today, but was on a Zoom call with reporters and said he would be fine for the game, per Sal Capaccio. At this point, I don’t think we need to worry about Diggs’ status.

The Buffalo Bills injury report lists wide receiver Stefon Diggs as limited with an oblique injury, per the team’s Twitter feed. Buffalo didn’t have a full-fledged practice, as they were limited to a walkthrough so close to their game on Sunday, but this is still something to keep an eye on of course.

This is a new injury, and we haven’t heard from the player or coaches about its severity. The odds that Diggs plays on Saturday against the Colts remain good, but if he can’t get a full practice in this week, maybe the injury could limit his ability.

Diggs has had an outstanding season, as he’s caught 127-of-166 targets for 1,535 yards and eight touchdowns. Finally the No. 1 option on a pass heavy team with a great quarterbback, Diggs was able to show that he is an elite receiver in this league. He’ll likely need to be in the hospital to not play this week.
