Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has been booked for a DUI after crashing his car early on Monday, per ESPN’s Paul Gutierez. The good news is that this was a single car crash and that Jacobs was treated for only minor injuries before being transported to the Clark County Detention Center.
Jacobs and the Raiders played Sunday against the Denver Broncos in Denver, but was reportedly driving under the influence that night in Vegas. This is an incident that will more than likely end up with Jacobs getting a suspension and a fine. As long as this is a first-time offense, which it appears to be, Jacobs would likely see a short suspension of around 1-2 games.
On the season, Jacobs had 273 carries for 1,065 yards and 12 touchdowns through 15 games, while catching 33 of 45 targets for 238 yards. He finished off the year with a game-winning touchdown in Denver.
