Detroit Pistons PF Blake Griffin and SF Josh Jackson are both being listed as out for Monday’s game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks. Griffin is taking the night off for injury management while Jackson is dealing with a bum ankle. Jackson was injured in Sunday’s loss to the Boston Celtics. Both players have been starting for Detroit, so we’ll have to wait and see on who replaces them.

We’ll start with Griffin, who has been one of the oddly efficient shooters in the NBA this season. For whatever reason, Griffin has been launching outside shots. He’s shooting close to 40 percent on 3-pointers at 13-33 through four games this season. That hasn’t exactly translated to wins for Detroit, though. With Griffin sidelined, we should see more usage and shots for both Jerami Grant ($6,900) and Mason Plumlee ($5,800) in the starting lineup. Sekou Doumbouya ($3,200) and Isaiah Stewart ($3,200) figure to benefit off the bench slightly with two forwards out.

My guess is Saddiq Bey ($3,900) or Delon Wright ($4,000) enters the starting lineup in place of Jackson. Wright would create a more natural back court with Killian Hayes ($3,500), while Bey is a more natural wing replacement. We saw Bey start a week ago against the Hawks when the Pistons were without Griffin and Derrick Rose. Grant, Plumlee and Bey should see most of the minutes in the front court. Most of the Pistons lineup is viable against the Bucks, who aren’t playing nearly as good on defense as last season.
