Pick against the spread, best player prop for Sixers vs. Pacers on Sunday

We go over some of the best betting options for Sunday’s Sixers vs. Pacers matchup.

The Philadelphia 76ers are undefeated when they have their complete starting lineup available and sit atop the Eastern Conference standings with a 14-6 record. They might not be at full strength on Sunday if Joel Embiid (back) is ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, though. Let’s go over some ideal bets to make on the matchup offered on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Sixers vs. Pacers, 7 p.m. ET, League Pass

Pick ATS: Sixers -1.5

Philly last played on Friday, and Embiid scored 37 points to go along with 11 rebounds in a win. If this matchup were a back-to-back, I think he’d sit. However, he’s had ample rest and should help the 76ers be at their best. Myles Turner is a legitimate Defensive Player of the Year candidate and is an elite rim protector and shot-blocker, but Embiid is in MVP form and has posted at least 28 points and 10 boards in four of his last five games. His physicality should help power Philadelphia to a third-straight win on the road. Indiana’s split series with the Charlotte Hornets this week doesn’t make their odds to top the Sixers seem great.

Player Prop: Domantas Sabonis O37.5 points, assists, and rebounds (-105)

Sabonis ranks second in minutes per game (36.8) alongside Malcolm Brogdon and will have to play a lot to combat one of the NBA’s most dominant bigs. Only Nikola Jokic has more double-doubles than Sabonis, so his chances of hitting the over could largely depend on his passing. He recorded his first triple-double of the year earlier this week and has averaged 6.4 assists per contest over his last five games.
