Game status: Matthew Stafford is ACTIVE.

Game day update: Stafford is still expected to play, per Adam Schefter.

Matthew Stafford, dealing with a cascade of injuries, is officially listed as questionable on this week’s injury report. Despite that, he is expected to make what could be his final start under center with the Detroit Lions this week, per Tom Pelissero.

Fantasy impact: Matthew Stafford (right thumb, rib, ankle)

Stafford was limited in practice to end the week, despite injuries to his ankle, ribs, and thumb. He was forced out of last week’s game against the Buccaneers with the ankle injury, and earlier in the week, it looked like he might have to miss Sunday’s finale.

As far as fantasy goes, Stafford’s been struggling all season. He’s got just three games with multiple touchdown throws since Week 6. He’ll face the Vikings this week in a meaningless game for both teams. The last time he played Minnesota, in Week 9, he had 211 passing yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.

If Stafford can’t play or is forced to leave early, Chase Daniels would again handle the work under center. Daniels has no fantasy value.
