With the Jacksonville Jaguars down both DJ Chark Jr. and Collin Johnson due to injuries, it should open up opportunities for both Laviska Shenault and Keelan Cole in the regular season finale on Sunday.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars WRs Laviska Shenault, Keelan Cole
Both rookie Laviska Shenault and Keelan Cole have had their moments this season for the lowly Jaguars. Shenault scored his second touchdown in four games last week against the Chicago Bears. In Jacksonville’s last three games, the rookie wideout has seen an uptick in production with 16 receptions (24 targets) for 140 yards and a touchdown.
As for Cole, he had two touchdowns, one on offense and the other on special teams against the Green Bay Packers in Week 10. Last week against the Bears, Cole had three receptions (five targets) for 26 yards.
Jags head coach Doug Marrone is hoping that the 27-year-old wide receiver can replicate his Week 14 performance on Sunday against the Colts. Cole had seven receptions (12 targets) for 67 yards and a touchdown. However, it might be tough to do against a Colts’ defense that is looking to rebound from last week’s embarrassing effort versus the Steelers.
