What to do with David Johnson in Week 17 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of David Johnson ahead of the Texans Week 17 matchup against the Titans.

David Johnson has been one of the best running backs in fantasy football over the last two weeks of the season. He’s seen more touches with Duke Johnson sidelined, but even with Duke possibly returning this week against the Titans, David’s playing too well to take the ball out of his hands. It’s a good week to have David Johnson in your fantasy lineups.

Fantasy Football analysis: Texans RB David Johnson

Last week, David Johnson rushed 12 times for 128 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals. He also caught three passes for 11 yards and a touchdown, his first multi-touchdown game of the season. The week before that, against the Colts, he had another huge day with 106 receiving yards on 11 catches. He also had 27 rushing yards on eight carries.

The last time Johnson played against Tennessee, in Week 6, he had 57 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, with another 12 yards on one catch. The Titans have given up four rushing scores in their last two games, getting gashed last week with Green Bay’s two running backs rolling up 218 yards on the ground.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Get David Johnson into your lineup this week. He’s a solid RB1 pick, and at $6,800 in DraftKings leagues, he feels a little undervalued.
