What to do with Hayden Hurst in Week 17 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Hayden Hurst ahead of the Falcons Week 17 matchup against the Bucs.

Trying to find a decent tight end (and in DFS, one at reasonable rates who’s not owned by everyone else playing that week) has been one of the most challenging parts of fantasy football this year. So to close out the regular season, Atlanta Falcons tight end Hayden Hurst at least offers a decent play when his team takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons TE Hayden Hurst

Hurst is riding a two-game scoring streak. He had 47 yards on five catches to go with his touchdown last Sunday against the Chiefs. And the week before that, against the Bucs, he had 21 yards on four catches along with his touchdown. The Falcons aren’t likely to have Julio Jones in the lineup this week either, which opens up more opportunities for Hurst.

The Bucs have given up two touchdowns to opposing tight ends in the last three weeks, and a total of eight on the season.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Hayden Hurst is a decent start this week, and he’s just $3,700 in DraftKings, making him a decent option in DFS formats too.
