Game status: Josh Allen is active, but the Bills have deactivated several healthy defensive players. Don’t expect a full game from Allen.

Game day update: The Bills still haven’t confirmed their playing time plans, but Jeff Darlington is reporting, “The Bills are keeping their plans for the starters close to the vest, and there’s a few different factors in play, but the most important thing to understand... They want the 2 seed.” That’s not exactly super clear, but it suggests Allen starts, but could sit in the second half if the Bills see the Steelers losing big to Cleveland or Buffalo being up big on Miami.

This has been an incredible season for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, one that’s put him in the MVP conversation. He’s got a chance to close it out and head into the postseason on a high note this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. And like every week, he belongs in your fantasy football lineup.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills QB Josh Allen

Allen has had four touchdowns in three of his last four games, including two passing and two rushing scores in Week 15 against the Broncos. He’s got five games this season with four or more touchdowns (passing and rushing combined) pointing to his incredible fantasy value. One of those games also happened to be against the Dolphins, back in Week 2.

Miami’s defense has played better since then, but there’s still plenty of reason to think that Allen can have another big game. The Dolphins gave up a passing and a rushing score last week to Derek Carr of the Raiders. They’ve given up five rushing touchdowns to QBs this year.

The Bills also have something to play for, trying to secure the AFC’s No. 2 spot in the playoff seeding.
