The Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz are set to meet the first time this season in one of Monday’s later games and we could be in for an exciting battle. The Jazz are favored by a narrow margin but Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis can take it to any team when they get going. Let’s take a look at some of the best bets available for the matchup.

The Mavericks are on the road and are riding a two-game losing streak but match up very well against the Jazz. Doncic towers over Utah’s guards and is far too elusive for the coverage of Bojan Bogdanovic. Then there’s Porzingis, who will likely draw the attention of Bogdanovic or Royce O’Neal. The Jazz are one of the NBA’s best as a team defensively but were dominated by the New York Knicks for three quarters in their last game. I’m not anticipating that Utah’s poor shooting for Tuesday will carry over to Wednesday, but they’ll have to be a lot more efficient scoring to make up for some major defensive mismatches.
