The Buffalo Bills secured the first huge break of the 2021 AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Mecole Hardman dropped back to return a punt and proceeded to fumble the ball. The Bills jumped on the ball at and recovered it at the Chiefs 3-yard line. On the next play, Josh Allen found Dawson Knox for a 3-yard touchdown reception. The Bills lead 9-0 midway through the first quarter after missing the extra point.
