Dallas Mavericks PF/C Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out for Saturday’s game vs. the Houston Rockets for injury management. The Mavericks are on the second of a back-to-back after beating the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. This has become a theme for Saturday’s with stars sitting out for rest. Porzingis is coming off of knee surgery and returned to the Mavericks lineup a few weeks ago.

With Porzingis sidelined, the Mavericks will likely start Willie Cauley-Stein at center against the Rockets. He’ll be a decent value play at $4,900 on DraftKings. Luka Doncic becomes a more appealing GPP option and could be one of the chalkier studs at $10,700. The Rockets are without Christian Wood and Victor Oladipo, so this game may not be very competitive. That could have something to do with the Mavs sitting Porzingis.

Josh Green ($3,600) and James Johnson ($4,900) are also decent value plays given that this game might not be competitive. If that’s the case, garbage minutes could go to both players. Trey Burke ($5,200) and Jalen Brunson ($4,800) are in the same boat.
