After having their last game postponed, the 16th-ranked Virginia Tech Hokies will return to the court on Saturday, January 23 when they take on the Syracuse Orange on the road.

Virginia Tech was on a three-game winning streak before its scheduled home game with the Boston College Eagles was postponed earlier this week due to COVID-19 issues. The Hokies come into this game with an 11-2 overall record including 5-1 in ACC play, second only to the Virginia Cavaliers. Despite the high ranking in the polls, Virginia Tech is 35th in the latest KenPom adjustment.

Syracuse lost two consecutive games before blowing out the Miami Hurricanes 83-57 in their last time out Tuesday night. The Orange improved to 8-4 overall, including 2-3 in the ACC for 10th place in the conference. Syracuse checks in at No. 42 in KenPom, and its success is led by its performance on offense, which ranks 31st in adjusted efficiency.
