Saturday’s college basketball slate will feature three games between ranked opponents, and one of them will tip off at noon ET when the No. 23 UConn Huskies travel on the road to play the 11th-ranked Creighton Bluejays.

It’s been a bit of a rough stretch for UConn, who haven’t won since beating DePaul on January 11. Since then, games against the Villanova Wildcats and Xavier Musketeers have been postponed as the Huskies have seen eight games canceled or postponed this season due to COVID-19 issues. In between those lost dates, UConn lost to the St. John’s Red Storm at home. In addition, its best player James Bouknight is out indefinitely with an elbow injury. UConn checks in at 7-2 including 4-2 in the Big East for fourth place in the conference.

As for Creighton, they have lost two consecutive games. After winning six of its first seven conference games, the Bluejays lost to the Butler Bulldogs and Providence Friars in the past week. CU dropped to 10-4 and 6-3 in the Big East for a tie for second place in the conference, they are ranked No. 15 in the latest KenPom rankings and have the 11th most efficient offense in the country.
