The Kansas Jayhawks find themselves in a mini-losing streak as they look to get back on track against the Oklahoma Sooners, the last team Kansas beat. This game will tip off on Saturday, January 23 at noon ET.

Kansas hasn’t won a game since defeating Oklahoma 63-59 at home on January 9, losing a pair of road games to the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Baylor Bears with a postponed game against the Iowa State Cyclones in between. The Jayhawks dropped to 10-4 this season including 4-3 in Big 12 play for a tie for third place in the conference standings. Kansas is No. 14 in KenPom and ranks inside the top 20 in both offensive and defensive efficiency.

As for Oklahoma, they’ve won two straight by significant margins after beating the TCU Horned Frogs 82-46 and the Kansas State Wildcats 76-50 on Tuesday, with a postponement against Oklahoma State in between those games. The Sooners come in at 8-4 and are tied with Kansas at 4-3 in the Big 12. The Sooners rank No. 28 in the latest KenPom rankings.

The Best Bet

Both of these teams have experienced their ups and downs in Big XII play so far with Kansas losing three of their last five games and OU splitting their last four.

Similar to their matchup two weeks ago, expect a tight contest where both teams will be within arms reach of each other. Don’t anticipate an explosion of points here.
