RB and WR head-to-head prop bets for the NFC Championship on DraftKings Sportsbook

We breakdown the head-to-head matchup prop bets for the RBs and WRs in NFC Championship game between the Packers and Bucs.

Cameron Brate or Rob Gronkowski? Which Tampa Bay TE you should roster

The NFC Championship game will feature two of the most high-powered offenses in the NFL — the Bucs and the Packers, each with explosive weapons at RB, WR and TE. In additional to the individual player prop bets available over on DraftKings Sporstbook, line makers have also put together some special head-to-head prop bets for these position groups We’ll take an in-depth look at the available RB, WR and TE head-to-head matchup props here.

Player to have receiving yards: Mike Evans (-175) or Allen Lazard (+135)

Evans didn’t look quite as much like a No. 1 receiver this year, but he still had 1,006 receiving yards through 16 games. Lazard, more of a supporting cast type, had 451 yards in 10 regular season game. Evans had a big game in the Wild Card round against Washington, posting 119 yards, but he was held to just three yards on one catch last week.

Pick: Allen Lazard

I know, I know, check my temperature because only a sicko would make this pick. But Evans is going to struggle against Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander, who’s one of the league’s best, the same way he always does against Marshon Lattimore of the Saints.

Player to have receiving yards: Davante Adams (-182) or Chris Godwin (+145)

Godwin averaged 70 yards per game in the regular season. Adams averaged 98. Last week, the Rams held Adams to just 66 yards. Godwin had 34 last week against the Saints and 70 the week before that against Washington.

Pick: Davante Adams

The matchup here is really tilting in Adams’ favor. I think Godwin will probably have the best day of any pass catcher on the Bucs, but Tampa’s defense really struggles against receivers like Adams.

Player to have receiving yards: Robert Tonyan (-134) or Rob Gronkowski (+108)

The Packers threw it to Tonyan four times last week, and he caught all four targets for 60 yards. Gronkowski has just one catch for 14 yards in the playoffs, getting outplayed by Cameron Brate last week. The Bucs are using him as a pass blocker more than a receiver.

Pick: Robert Tonyan

Player to have rushing yards: Aaron Jones (-200) or Leonard Fournette (+155)

Jones had 99 yards on 14 carries last week against the Rams, but 60 of those yards came on one play. Fournette has been red hot in the playoffs. He had 63 rushing yards last week and 93 the week before that.

Pick: Leonard Fournette

You can run against Green Bay’s defense, whereas that task is much harder against Tampa Bay, who held Jones to just 15 yards on 10 carries when these two teams met back in Week 6. Jones is also sharing reps with Jamaal Williams at a higher rate than Fournette is sharing them with Ronald Jones in Tampa’s backfield.
