The Los Angeles Rams are playing a desperate game for their postseason hopes against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Making the climb that much steeper is that they have to do without a couple of key offensive players, including quarterback Jared Goff and wide receiver Cooper Kupp. So, is there any fantasy value to be had from Robert Woods and Josh Reynolds as the team’ top two receivers this week?
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams WRs Robert Woods, Josh Reynolds
Woods and Kupp both had nine targets last week. The latter caught eight for 66 yards, while Woods came away with just 48 yards on four catches. Without Kupp, Woods should see an increase in target share this week. The problem here is that he’s got a backup QB who’s never played an NFL snap throwing him the ball.
Reynolds had more targets than either Woods or Kupp last week with 10. He caught six of them for 66 yards. Again, it’s hard to know what to expect with a backup under center.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Woods still has some value as a third receiver in fantasy football lineups. Still, there are better choices in DFS with his $6,300 price tag in DraftKings leagues this week. Sit Josh Reynolds.
