What to do with Dare Ogunbowale in Week 17 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Dare Ogunbowale ahead of the Jaguars Week 17 matchup against the Colts.

The Jacksonville Jaguars season is, mercifully, coming to an end on Sunday. They’ve got to play out the string with a Week 17 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The Jags won’t have running back James Robinson again for this game, so they’ll again turn to Dare Ogunbowale to handle the lion’s share of the work in the backfield.

Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars RB Dare Ogunbowale

Ogunbowale had 14 carries for 71 yards last week against the Bears, adding another seven yards on three catches. It was a respectable effort, and he didn’t cede too many touches to the other backs available that day.

He’ll have his work cut out for him against the Colts, who haven’t allowed an opposing running back to rush for more than 50 yards in their last four games. Overall, running backs are averaging just 3.75 yards per carry against this defense.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

It’s just not a good matchup for Ogunbowale to be more than an RB3 or a low-end flex play this week.
