Last week against the Detroit Lions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offense was rolling with all three wide receivers scoring touchdowns. Can they continue their hot streak against a vulnerable Atlanta Falcons’ secondary? Let’s break it down below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs WRs Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown
The Buccaneers’ offense was in rare form against the Lions in Week 16. It started with Tom Brady, who was 22-of-27 for 348 yards and four touchdowns. Two of his touchdown passes went to Mike Evans. Evans had a game-high 10 receptions (12 targets) for 181 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Chris Godwin was right behind Evans with five receptions (nine targets) for 84 yards and a touchdown. Antonio Brown recorded his second-straight game with a touchdown, which were a part of his four receptions (six targets) for 35 yards. On Sunday, the Bucs are taking on a Falcons’ secondary that they had their fair amount of success against in Week 15.
In that contest, Evans led the Bucs with six receptions (seven targets) for 110 yards, while Brown had five receptions (seven targets) for 93 yards and a touchdown. Lastly, Godwin contributed four receptions (five targets) for 36 yards and a score.
