We’ve got a big-time game to look forward to this MLK day, as the new-and-improved Brooklyn Nets are set to host the Milwaukee Bucks. We could see James Harden and Kevin Durant take on a Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Bucks team that’s en route to win the Eastern Conference for a third straight year. How do these two powerhouses stack up against one another?
Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks, 7:30 p.m. ET TNT
Pick ATS: Bucks -3
Brooklyn edged out an Orlando Magic team that’s been ravaged by injuries in its first game and will now take on a Milwaukee squad that’s played like the best team in the Eastern Conference. I’m not sure whether oddsmakers factored in Kyrie Irving being ruled out when making this line but it’s hard to see the Nets challenging the best of the best at anything less than full strength.
Player Prop: Kevin Durant O29.5 points (+100)
Durant is a scoring machine and has been held under 28 points just twice in 10 games. While he’ll draw the attention of some elite defenders it’s clear that he’s the top option on offense even after the addition of Harden. Durant should easily eclipse 20 shot attempts and is shooting a blistering 54.8 percent from the field.
