We discuss the gameday inactives for the Bucs and Saints and their impact in the Divisional round of the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints kick off their Divisional round game at 6:40 p.m. ET on Sunday, and 90 minutes before the game the two teams announced their list of inactives. We had word earlier today that both Latavius Murray and Taysom Hill would be incative for the Saints and that has come true. The Buccaneers biggest concern was a questionable Ronald Jones, but he will play. You can check out the rest of the inactives below.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers inactives

TE Antony Auclair, QB Ryan Griffin, S Javon Hagan, DL Jeremiah Ledbetter, RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn, G Earl Watford, WR Justin Watson

The impact

The big news is that Ronald Jones is active after being unable to go last week in the Wild Card round. Leonard Fournette is expected to start, but Bruce Arians said if Jones was good to go, he’d get his usual work. Notably, safety Jordan Whitehead is active after being listed as questionable.

New Orleans Saints inactives

QB Taysom Hill, CB Patrick Robinson, RB Latavius Murray, WR Juwan Johnson, DT Malcolm Roach, CB Ken Crawley, OL Derrick Kelly

The impact

Alvin Kamara’s backup is sidelined as is Drew Brees’ normal backup. Kamara is always a busy back, and without Murray or Hill, we could see an even busier day for Kamara.
