What to do with Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins in the Divisional round of the 2021 NFL playoffs

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins ahead of the Browns Divisional round matchup against the Chiefs in the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

The Cleveland Browns have moved on to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs and will now do battle with the Kansas City Chiefs to keep their hopes and dreams alive.

Going up against KC, Cleveland will have to score a lot of points. So how will they do it and should you put your faith in their wide receiver corps to have a big day?

Fantasy Football analysis: Browns WRs Jarvis Landry ($DKSalary), Rashard Higgins ($DKSalary)

The Browns are typically a run-first offense. Jarvis Landry is the team’s leading receiver and he has just 840 yards and three touchdowns on the season. When Cleveland does have to rely on the passing attack, they tend to spread the ball out and include running backs in the areal assault, so it’s tough to bet on one player in fantasy from this team. He had one of his best games of the season against the Steelers in the Wild Card round, getting a score and 92 yards receiving. But he hasn’t been able to sustain that type of success all year

Higgins has been solid, but underwhelming after stepping into the WR2 slot after OBJ went down with an injury. He has under 600 yards all season and just four touchdowns. He had only two catches on seven targets last week against Pittsburgh as well.

The Cheifs defense is pretty good against the pass as well, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to WRs in the NFL, at only 30 per game to the whole position group.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

With how much Cleveland spreads the ball around and how little success there has been for an individual receiver this season, sit them both.
