The 3-7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish are looking to snap a three-game losing streak as they head to Virginia to take on the No. 18 Virginia Cavaliers on Wednesday afternoon. The game tips off at 4:30 p.m. EST on ACC Network.
Notre Dame hasn’t been playing like teams we expect to see coming out of South Bend this season. While their offense is playing fine, averaging over 70 ppg, their defense is giving up close to 80 points to the opposition each time out. The Irish haven’t won since the start of 2021 and are 0-4 in ACC play, including a loss to UVA on New Year’s Eve.
The Cavs offense is chugging along just fine, scoring around 75 per game, and the team is thriving thanks to their stifling defense. UVA gives up under 60 points per contest, which currently ranks as the 10th best defense in the nation.
If you can’t watch this game on TV, you have the option to stream the matchup via WatchESPN or the ESPN app if you have ACC Network. You’ll need a cable log-in to view it those ways. If you don’t have that, you can try a free trial subscription to fuboTV.
The game is often a little bit delayed on live streams, but usually, it’s only between 30 and 60 seconds behind the TV broadcast. That can impact you if you’re on Twitter or live-betting during the game, but otherwise, it’s an easy option.
UVA is currently a 10-point favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Irish are +420 on the moneyline.
