The New Orleans Saints narrowly edged out the Chicago Bears in Week 8 and a Wild Card Round rematch is set for Sunday at 4:40 p.m. ET. Can New Orleans complete its season sweep against Chicago and avoid losing in the first round of the playoffs for a second straight year?

New Orleans has been the much better team all year and has managed to blow quite a few inferior teams out. It’s hard for most teams to cover the spread as double-digit favorites and the Bears’ well-rounded defense should make things difficult. Chicago only lost by three points against New Orleans earlier this year and Mitchell Trubisky’s performance will likely determine the final result of this game.

Is the public right?
Chicago is far from being an elite scoring team but New Orleans has scored the fifth-most points in the NFL. Key skill players like Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara are capable of making home run plays and the Bears aren’t short on playmakers either with David Montgomery and Allen Robinson. This won’t be a barn burner but the over should be in play.

The Saints are big-time favorites on the moneyline at +390. New Orleans commands 72 percent of the handle and 81 percent of the total bets.
Is the public right?
It’s hard to go against New Orleans here. While the Saints did lose two of their final four games during the regular season they’ve only lost to the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Bears aren’t close to being in the same tier so it would be surprising to see them pull off an upset as major underdogs.
