The Seahawks were able to clinch their spot in the playoffs last week with a 20-9 win over the Rams, and they did it just in time with only one game left in the regular season before the playoffs start. Now they’ll head on the road to take on the 49ers where some players could potentially be rested in preparation for the postseason which starts the following week.
Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks WRs D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, David Moore
Metcalf led the receiving corps last week with 59 yards going 6-for-8 on the night, while Lockett wasn’t too far behind catching 3-of-5 for 44 yards. David Moore didn’t see much action as he only went 1-for-1, but logged 45 yards on that single reception. Metcalf would be the obvious choice going forward despite his underperformance in recent weeks, but the last time he met the 49ers he went for an impressive 28 fantasy points in the Seahawks 37-27 win. He’s had some impressive numbers throughout the season, while Lockett has gone huge twice with 28 in Week 3 and 38 in Week 7, but has scored mostly single digits aside from those. Moore has seen the least amount of action between the three receivers, so Metcalf would probably be worth the risk at WR1 this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start D.K. Metcalf, sit Tyler Lockett, sit David Moore.
