What to do with A.J. Brown, Corey Davis in Week 17 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of A.J. Brown and Corey Davis ahead of the Titans Week 17 matchup against the Texans.

Game day update: The Titans are in need of a bounce-back game, as they’re able to clinch the AFC South with a win; they can control their destiny today. The team limited Brown’s reps this week to keep him in top shape, and luckily for any fantasy managers or bettors, they should expect that AJ Brown and Corey Davis will play in Week 17 in a full capacity with the division on the line.

Last week was a rough one for the Tennessee Titans offense. Playing in snowy conditions at Lambeau Field against the Packers didn’t exactly make for prime passing opportunities. Needless to say, their top two wide receivers, A.J. Brown and Corey Davis, both had down days in the box score. However, the two players are much better options for fantasy football lineups this week in a must-win game against the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Football analysis: Titans WRs A.J. Brown, Corey Davis

Brown had just four catches, despite being targeted eight times, and a meager 43 yards on the day. That was still 43 more yards and David had. The week before, against the Lions, Davis had 110 yards and a touchdown, while Brown had 44 yards and a score of his own.

Brown is typically going to see more targets in a game than Davis, but the latter has the big play potential that makes him a high ceiling fantasy player.

Houston’s defense has given up six touchdowns to opposing wide receivers in their last four games. During that same stretch, they’ve given up 70 yards or more to a player six times. The last time the Titans and Texans squared off, in Week 6, Brown had 58 yards and two touchdowns, while Davis had a score of his own and 64 yards.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start A.J. Brown as a WR1 and Corey Davis as a WR2 this week.
