Friday update: Kittle is practicing in full on Friday and said on Thursday he plans on playing in Week 4.

Thursday update: Kittle was able to once again practice in full on Thursday.

San Francisco 49ers star tight end will George Kittle will practice in full today according to his coach Kyle Shanahan. Kittle has missed the last two games due to a knee injury, but looks like he’s on track to suit up this week against the Eagles.

The 49ers lost backup tight end Jordan Reed to a knee injury last week, so Kittle’s return is much needed. The 49ers as a whole have been decimated by injuries, with stars like Nick Bosa, Jimmy Garoppolo and Raheem Mostert missing time. They will need to get healthy to compete with an NFC West that’s playing extremely well so far this season.
