D.J. Chark returns to practice, removed from final injury report

Jaguars WR1 is set to return in Week 4 from a chest injury.

NFL: AUG 29 Jaguars Training Camp, DJ Chark

Friday update: The Jaguars held their final practice of the week and D.J. Chark was a full participant, according to Adam Caplan. He was not included on the team’s final injury report, which suggests he is good to go for Week 4.

Thursday update: The Jaguars returned to practice and wide receiver D.J. Chark got in a second straight limited session. He likely will end up questionable on the final injury report, but it’s a step forward after a Wednesday DNP cost him last week.

Jacksonville Jaguars receiver D.J. Chark missed last Thursday night’s game against the Dolphins with a chest injury. On Wednesday, Coach Doug Marrone said that Chark would be limited again in practice, but that Chark has passed all tests regarding his chest injury, per Ashley Sullivan of the team site.

Chark’s absence against Miami stuck out, as Gardner Minshew had trouble pushing the ball downfield with him gone. Running back James Robinson led the team in receiving yards, as their offense shrunk sans Chark. It appears he is on track to suit up against the Bengals this week, but it would be reassuring to see him get a full practice in.
