The Toronto Raptors season was in the balance with 0.5 seconds left in Game 3 on Thursday. Then OG rescued Toronto. OG Anunoby hit an improbable buzzer beater with 0.5 seconds left on the clock to give the Raptors a 104-103 victory.

The Celtics put Tacko Fall into the game just to cover the inbounds pass by Kyle Lowry, which was an absolutely perfect throw. That was some NFL MVP type of shit to save the Raptors season. Pardon my french there, sorry. This came after Kemba Walker picked apart a double team to get the Celtics a 103-101 lead on a Daniel Theis dunk. It looked like the Celtics were going to coast to a 3-0 lead in the series. Here’s a look at the Kemba dime.

This was a very ugly game that was saved by a few amazing plays at the end. The Raptors struggled to shoot the rock again, something that has plagued them throughout this series. Toronto still shot around 32% from 3-point range and under 50% from the floor, but Lowry really stepped up. He finished with 31 points and 8 assists, easily his best game of the postseason (considering the first round was a joke).
On the other end, Walker had a huge game for the Celtics. It’s a shame really, because this was vintage Kemba Time. He scored 29 points and had that sick assist that looked like it would walk the Celtics off. Boston overall wasn’t able to capitalize on the Raptors’ struggles early in the game and let Toronto get back into it after halftime.
This is a huge swing for the series. It gives the Raptors new life and some momentum. Now if they can just figure out how to shoot again and maybe Nick Nurse makes some lineup adjustments, then Toronto can even things up and take it from there. Nurse has been leaning way too much on Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam hasn’t looked like an All-Star at all. Given how poorly the Raptors have looked, they should be thankful its 2-1. You’d think from here on out the defending champs won’t take this opportunity for granted.
