Breaking down most popular winning, losing picks of Week 3 in Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship

The NFL wrapped up Week 3, and it was a bit of a bounce back week for yours truly. A week after going 6-10 against the spread, I finished last week 11-5 against the spread to bring my season record to 25-22-1. I also went 4-1 on my five best bets, so I’m sitting at 11-4 for the season in best bets.

The DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship is underway, and we had 13 users finish a perfect 5 for 5 with their picks. Through three weeks, nobody remains perfect in the standings.

We’ve got a look at some of the more popular winners and losers from Week 3, and the top three on each side broke down as follows:

Most popular winners

1. New England Patriots (-5.5): 48.7%
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5): 12.7%
3. Buffalo Bills (-1.5): 21.5%

The Raiders were coming off an upset of the Saints at home on Monday Night Football, and heading into Foxborough was a perfect spot to fade them. The Bills got their cover in an absolutely wild one and I suspect will continue to be a popular pick this season.

Most popular losers

1. New York Giants (+3.5): 26.4%
2. Arizona Cardinals (-5.5): 22.9%
3. Tennessee Titans (-2.5): 22.7%

The public was fading a banged up 49ers squad only to realize the Giants are an awful football team. Detroit bounced back in their win over Arizona and we probably should not underestimate them (well, some of you — I picked Detroit this week!).
