Best available D/STs on the Week 4 waiver wire

Looking for help at D/ST? We take a look at three teams widely available in Yahoo! leagues.

There are some D/STs widely available that either have good matchups heading into Week 4 or had successful Week 3 performances that raised our expectations moving forward. With that in mind, here are three D/STs with under 50% ownership at traditional fantasy football leagues that managers can consider picking up in their leagues.

So far, the Jets, Broncos, Texans, Eagles, Vikings, Washington and Giants have been the best teams to target with your team defenses. Those teams will shift around, as the Texans’s schedule gets easier moving forward, but right now, this is a decent list to look for value D/ST plays to stream against.

Denver Broncos (36 percent)

The Broncos get to face the New York Jets in Week 4 and we know how benificial that was to the Colts D/ST last week, as they pick-sixed Sam Darnold twice. The Jets will have a quick turnaround to get a lot of players healthy for Thursday night and there is a real chance this could be Adam Gase’s last game as a Jet.

Seattle Seahawks (30 percent)

Seattle’s defense hasn’t been playing well, but they could find some good opportunities against the Dolphins in Week 4. Ryan Fitzpatrick is either going to kill you or kill his team, and if Seattle and Russell Wilson can keep their offense churning at such a hot pace, Fitzpatrick will need to make up a lot of ground, setting himself up for turnovers.

New York Jets (6 percent)

Yes, the Jets are bad, but the Broncos without Drew Lock have looked awful as well. We may get Blake Bortles this week for the Broncos, which isn’t the savior for their offense. You know you want to stream a D/ST against Bortles!
