Chiefs-Ravens final score

Kansas City scored late to put this game away, winning by a final score of 34-20. Patrick Mahomes finished the night with 385 yards and four touchdowns through the air, and added a touchdown on the ground in a great all-around effort. The Chiefs improved to 3-0 and the Ravens dropped to 2-1.

Ravens turn this into a one-score game

The Chiefs looked like they were going to run away with this thing, but Baltimore has quietly climbed back into it. A field goal marked the only points for either team in a quiet third quarter and after the Chiefs couldn’t convert a 4th and 1, the Ravens marched 49 yards down the field in six plays to score a touchdown and cut the lead to 27-20 at the start of the fourth quarter. With 14:55 to go in the game, we’ve got an interesting one.

Patrick Mahomes finds Tyreek Hill for leaping TD and 20-10 lead

The Chiefs offense is looking really impressive in the first half. Mahomes found Hill on this score, and I really have no idea how anybody can consistently stop the Chiefs. Someone give the Chargers a call!

Chiefs take 13-3 lead on Mahomes underhand flip

The Chiefs offense is rolling with their second touchdown in as many drives to open the game. Mahomes completed passes to four different receivers and capped the drive with this nifty little shovel pass type play to Anthony Sherman.

The Chiefs did not waste any time on their first offensive drive. Patrick Mahomes threw for 44 yards, including a 33-yard catch-and-run by Tyreek Hill. Mahomes then ran in a three-yard score to give the Chiefs the lead. Harrison Butker missed the extra point.

Odds update

DraftKings Sportsbook has moved the point total from 54.5 to 55 ten minutes before kickoff.

Ravens take 3-0 lead on opening drive

Baltimore’s drive short-circuited inside the red zone, but a big Lamar Jackson run got them into position to eventually convert a field goal. They’ll need touchdowns to beat the Chiefs, but Baltimore drew first blood.

Chiefs G Andrew Wylie has appendicitis

The Chiefs right guard went to the hospital at 5 p.m. on Monday afternoon and it turns out he appears to have appendicitis. Mike Remmers will start in his place, according to Vahe Gregorian.
