The Las Vegas Raiders aren’t getting much production from their top three wide receivers. Together, the three players have just 168 yards, and none of them have found the end zone. Already a risky play in fantasy leagues, things could be that much more difficult this week when they take on the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders WRs Henry Ruggs III, Hunter Renfrow, Bryan Edwards
Ruggs leads the trio with eight targets and 59 yards this season, but he was recently ruled out for today’s game.
Tight end Darren Waller is the preferred option for quarterback Derek Carr, and it’s not even close. The three receivers have had as many targets all season as Waller had last week. The potential issue here is that Waller is dealing with a knee injury and hasn’t practiced all week, so far. The latest word is that the team is optimistic they’ll have him on the field, but if he can’t play, that should mean more throws to the receivers.
For me, the problem is that I just don’t trust the receivers to make much of an impact even if Waller can’t play, certainly not enough to take a risky flyer on them in fantasy this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Edwards and Renfrow.
