What to do with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb in Week 3 fantasy football

The Cowboys visit the Seahawks with this week’s highest expected total. Which Dallas WR will benefit most from this pass-friendly environment?

The Cowboys pulled off a miracle last week thanks to an onside kick blunder from the experts in blowing big leads, the Falcons. Fresh off of their 40-39 victory, Dak and the Boys will look to keep pace with Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in Week 3. Set as the highest total game of 55.5 points, this matchup has shootout written all over it, which bodes well for Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb fantasy owners. So, should you start them?

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys WRs Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb

The top target has absolutely dominated against Seattle this season. In Week 1, Julio Jones recorded nine catches for 157 yards. In Week 2, Julian Edelman reeled in eight for 179. Amari Cooper looks poised to at least reach his weekly average of eight receptions and 90 yards, and maybe, just maybe, he’ll find the endzone for the first time since Week 14 of last season.

Aside from being the top receiver in New England, Edelman tends to play in the slot, which means we can compare him to Russell Gage. Gage went off for nine grabs and 114 yards against the Seahawks in Week 1. All signs point to the Cowboys slot man, CeeDee Lamb, who broke out for six catches and 106 yards in Week 2. But with all of the fantasy attention going to Cooper and Lamb, many may ignore Gallup. As Dak’s deep threat, Gallup should still garner plenty of fantasy consideration in a matchup as tantalizing as this one.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb. Obviously don’t start all three if you oddly have them all on your team. Maybe consider trading one (or two) of them? Just a thought.
