What to do with Tom Brady in Week 3 fantasy football

Tom Brady should have both his top targets healthy for a Week 3 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Can he have a breakout game, or will he fall short of expectations once again?

Tom Brady is 1-1 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after getting his first win of the season against the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. The Denver Broncos are scheduled to face the Buccaneers in Week 3. We’ll go over how Brady’s fantasy football potential for the matchup here.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs QB Tom Brady

Brady is still ironing out the kinks with his new team and has tallied 456 passing yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. The Buccaneers’ offense hasn’t been firing on all cylinders, and a lot of that can be attributed to injuries. Mike Evans was battling with a hamstring injury in Week 1 and only caught one pass. Chris Godwin didn’t play in Week 2 because of a concussion but is one track to return in Week 3. Brady’s numbers could be a lot better had some of his receivers not dropped passes in scoring positions, so maybe Tampa Bay can put it all together against the Broncos, who gave up 311 passing yards to Ben Roethlisberger in Week 2.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Brady having Evans and Godwin healthy is too enticing to pass up. There’s a good chance Brady will have his best performance of the year in Week 3.
