New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had a tough outing versus the Chicago Bears last Sunday, being sacked four times and turning the ball over twice in a 17-13 loss. With a Giants offense that have suffered major blows, what prospects does the young QB have in Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers?
Fantasy Football analysis: Giants QB Daniel Jones
The second-year signal-caller out of Duke has been pedestrian so far, accounting for only 6.4 yards per attempt while turning the ball over four times through two games this season. On top of Saquon Barkley’s ACL tear, the Giants’ offense was dealt another blow on Wednesday with Sterling Shepard being sent to IR with a toe injury. That places more pressure on the sophomore QB to connect with Darius Slayton, Golden Tate and Evan Engram through the air.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
There are better value options at play for quarterbacks so I’d stay far away from Jones this week.
