In a flyweight bout, #7 Kai Kara-France will take on #9 Brandon Royval in the final three-round fight of UFC 253 which will be held live on Fight Island at Abu Dhabi and on pay-per-view.

Kai Kara-France will come in the favorite on the moneyline at -240 with Brandon Royval sliding just under that at +188. However, while Royval isn’t the favorite, he will have the historic edge in daily fantasy points as he averages almost 100 per fight.
Kara-France is sitting at 74.5 as his last four fights have finished via decision. While he has more UFC experience, his fight tend to go the distance which is unlike Royval whose only UFC bout was a second-round submission. Kara-France has a 21-8 record in his MMA career with 13 decisions, nine for him and four against.
Royval’s tag is high, and he’s more unproven at the UFC level. With ten of his 11 MMA wins coming via knockout or submission and all four losses coming via decision, this fight may either go to Royval before all 15 minutes are up or it may be an easy win for Kara-France if it goes the distance.
The former scenario makes Royval the play and the latter makes neither a great option. Pick wisely, but this may be the time to go with an underdog.
