Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins suffered a concussion against the Chargers in Week 2 and is in the protocol, per ESPN’s Adam Teicher. Coach Andy Reid’s comment on the situation was a little hard to follow though:
Sammy Watkins is in concussion protocol but Andy Reid said, '"It's more neck now than the other part.''

Is Watkins close to being out of the protocol but can’t be tested due to a neck injury? It’s hard to say, but Watkins has yet to practice this week and with two injuries, his chances seem iffy at best.
Watkins took an egregious helmet to helmet hit that was not flagged and did take him out of the game:

If he can’t go against the Ravens on Monday night, Demarcus Robinson will likely take over his snaps with some Mecole Hardman sprinkled into the offense as well.
