Tyler Eifert is finally healthy and looking to carve out a role for himself in the Jaguars offense. Week 1 did not show much promise, but Eifert’s usage and production made significant jumps in Week 2. Can Eifert make his way back to becoming the every week starter that he once was? We break down the fantasy analysis below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars TE Tyler Eifert
Eifert took a backseat to James O’Shaughnessey in Week 1 and he finished the game with only one reception for eight yards. Though he started out with a performance as unremarkable as they come, Eifert bounced back well in Week 2. He received six targets in this game, which he turned into three receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown. Eifert finished the day with 12.6 PPR points. The Dolphins secondary is definitely not one to avoid and there is room for Eifert to have success here. The main concern for his production will be volume, as there are many mouths to feed in the Jacksonville offense. He can be started if you’re in a bind in a deep league, or a two TE league, however he belongs on the bench for now in most standard leagues.
