Report: Jalen Reagor could miss 7 weeks with injured thumb

The Eagles injury bug leaves no thumb unturned.

Update: Reagor’s thumb injury could keep him out until after the Eagles Week 9 bye, per John Clark of NBC Philadelphia. If you have him on your redraft fantasy team, you should drop him from your roster.

And the hits just keep on coming. This time it’s Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jalen Reagor who has suffered another injury, this time a UCL tear in his thumb, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. The Eagles can’t seem to get past multiple key injuries that keep popping up. The offensive line has been hit hard and now Reagor goes down. The rookie managed to beat the time table on his training camp shoulder injury to play in Week 1, but a receiver needs his thumb in working order.

His absence should boost DeSean Jackson and Dallas Goedert’s usage the most, but JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Zach Ertz and Greg Ward could see extra work as well. Philadelphia has yet to find their groove and quarterback Carson Wentz has not been playing up to his standards so far. A game against a poor Bengals defense could get him and the team going, but Reagor’s absence does not help.
