Friday PM update: The Lions released their final Week 3 injury report and Kenny Golladay is listed as questionable, per reporter Brad Galli. He got in three straight days of limited practice.
Thursday AM update: Kenny Golladay is back out at practice on Thursday in spite of his hamstring injury, per reporter Kyle Meinke. Golladay was limited on Wednesday, so we’ll see if he is the same or upgraded on Thursday’s official report later in the day.
Lions No. 1 wide receiver Kenny Golladay has missed the first two games of the season due to a hamstring injury. But, things are looking up this week as he will practice in some capacity on Wednesday, per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Golladay popped up on the injury report during Week 1 practice and hasn’t practiced since. His absence has been troublesome for the Lions offense as a whole. The team has lost their first two games and looked lethargic and unprepared in both games. If Golladay can return, it should be a huge boost to an offense that looked great when Stafford was healthy for the first half of last season.
With Golladay out, rookie Quintez Cephus saw a lot of playing time, but couldn’t quite get things going. Golladay’s injury has exposed a weakness in the Lions overall offense and it likely won’t be fixed until he is 100 percent healthy.
