Breaking down most popular winning, losing picks of Week 2 in Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship

Kyler Murray and the Cardinals are looking dangerous, and people had no qualms jumping on them in Week 2.

The NFL wrapped up Week 2, and it was a rough week for yours truly. I finished last week 6-10 against the spread to bring my season record to 14-17-1. I did go 3-2 on my five best bets, so I’m sitting at 7-3 for the season in best bets.

The DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship is underway, and we had nine users finish a perfect 5 for 5 with their picks. Through two weeks, only two entrants are perfect in the standings, and they both took this past week off to stand at 5-out-of-5 for the season.

We’ve got a look at some of the more popular winners and losers from Week 3, and the top three on each side broke down as follows:

Most popular winners

1. Arizona Cardinals (-6.5): 31.49%
2. New York Giants (+5.5): 20.46%
3. Seattle Seahawks (-3.5): 19.3%

The Cardinals were facing a Washington team coming off a big Week 1 divisional win over the Eagles and having to travel west. I’m honestly surprised more people didn’t grab the Cardinals in this spot. The Seahawks win and cover against the Patriots was one of the wildest finishes of the week, behind maybe only Falcons-Cowboys. Seattle’s offense is looking elite.

Most popular losers

1. Philadelphia Eagles (+1.5): 39.48%
2. Kansas City Chiefs (-8.5): 23.95%
3. New York Jets (+7.5): 21.34%

I was on the Eagles this week, and it would appear we learned the Eagles actually stink and/or the Rams are pretty good. The Chiefs result is due in part to getting an unexpected twist in Justin Herbert starting, but the Chiefs offense struggled much of the game. KC travels to face a tough Baltimore defense in Week 3, so that’s one to watch.
