UPDATE 1:45 p.m.: Saquon Barkley has been taken to the locker room in a cart.
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley suffered a pair of injuries and appears to be leaving the game for the time being. He initially injured his elbow or shoulder on an awkward play, but returned to the game. He then went down hard and reached for his lower leg. He did not need a cart to leave the game, but got some help walking to the sideline.
Barkley had four rushes for 28 yards at the time of his second injury. Dion Lewis is Barkley’s backup running back.
