Wide receiver A.J. Brown will not play this week. The Tennessee Titans No. 1 receiver and second-year phenom is out this week with a bone bruise in his knee. His status beyond this week will be important to monitor since it could keep him out beyond Week 2.
Fantasy impact: WR A.J. Brown injury
Brown finished last week’s game against the Broncos last week with five catches for 39 yards. He had the same number of targets in that game as Corey Davis, eight, but Davis was able to haul in seven of those for 101 yards. He’ll step into the No. 1 role with Brown on the sidelines.
Davis had been dealing with a hamstring injury this week, but he was able to practice and is good to go. He is definitely worth a spot in lineups this week with a favorable matchup against the Jaguars.
Adam Humphries had six catches for 47 yards last week. He should be in for a bigger workload this week without Brown in the lineup, and is worth a flyer in most fantasy leagues this week.
