The New York Jets got more difficult news this week. The team moved running back Le’Veon Bell to injured reserve with a hamstring injury he suffered last week in a loss to the Bills. The move puts Frank Gore front and center as the team’s starting running back, though he’s likely to share the workload with some combination of Josh Adams and Kalen Ballage. La’Mical Perine is still dealing with an ankle injury.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jets RBs Frank Gore, La’Mical Perine, Josh Adams, Kalen Ballage
Even with a banged up Niners team coming to town on Sunday, you can count on the Jets being on the wrong end of a lopsided affair. Gore had 24 yards on six carries last week. He’ll get some early touches, but it’s hard to see the Jets able to run the ball much in the second half of this one.
What about Adams and Ballage, you ask? Yeah, well, there’s not much to say. Nobody mentioned on this page is worth a spot in your lineup.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit all of them. Like, seriously, don’t even touch them this week.
