Best Week 2 daily fantasy football running back plays over $6000

Titans injuries could help Derrick Henry rack up more than 30 carries for a second straight Week.

There are a ton of do-it-all running backs in today’s NFL, and you’ll get to see a a lot of them play on Sunday. Christian McCaffrey ($10,000) is the most expensive player at any position in this weekend’s 12-game NFL DFS slate on DraftKings, and we’ll explain why he and a few other expensive running backs are worth paying up for here.

Derrick Henry ($7,900), Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Henry leads the NFL in rushing attempts with 31 and only trails Clyde Edwards-Helaire in rushing yards (116). Tennessee is dealing with a slew of injuries. Corey Davis and A.J. Brown are both looking to get healthy ahead of Week 2, so expect Henry to get a healthy helping of carries against the Jaguars.

Ezekiel Elliott ($8,200), Dallas Cowboys vs. Atlanta Falcons

Elliott rushed for a score and caught a touchdown pass in the Cowboys’ season opener. He’ll be among the league leaders in total touches in 2020 and will be up against a Falcons defense that was dismantled by the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1. Grady Jarrett has no help on Atlanta’s defensive line, so Elliott has a decent shot at eclipsing 100 yards on the ground. After all, he tallied 96 rushing yards on 22 carries against the Los Angeles Rams.

Miles Sanders ($6,000), Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams

It appears like Sanders is set to make his 2020 debut in Week 2. The second-year running back missed the season opener with a hamstring injury but was a full participant at practice on Wednesday. He should be highly involve because of the Eagles’ thin receiving corp and is an all-purpose back who can contribute to the offense in more ways than one.
